How can I learn everything I need to know in a one day class?

Whether you take a 1 day course or a 3 day course, you still have to take time to practice what you’ve learned.  We take one day to show you everything you need to know, and then send you home with the Excel file and Student handbook we used in class so you can continue practicing on your own schedule.

How big are the classes?

Public classes can consist of up to 6 students.  We offer several classes during the week so that classes can remain small and comfortable for everyone.

What do I need to bring to the class?

We provide a full-size training computer, class materials, snacks and drinks.  All you need to bring is yourself!

What is the dress code for the classes?

You’ll be sitting in class from 9am-5pm with a lunch break in the middle.  We recommend wearing comfortable clothes!

Do I need to have a basic knowledge of Excel before I take a class?

Having some previous Excel knowledge will make the classes easier, but brand new Excel users will do well in the Excel Introduction course.  This course is designed for new users or those who have a limited Excel history.

Do I need to have a basic knowledge of computers before I take a class?

Yes – having a basic knowledge of using a standard desktop computer, mouse and keyboard will ensure the learning process is smooth and effective.

Are these classes accredited?

Our classes are accredited through the Texas Board of Accounting which assign each class 8 CPE (Continuing Professional Education) credits.  You will receive a certificate of completion at the end of each class.

Do you have virtual class options?

We offer each class (consideration given to select advanced courses) in a virtual format that is always lead by a live instructor.

Where is the best place to park at the class location?

For our Scott Ave headquarters, we recommend parking on the side of the building in the guest parking spots.

How early should I arrive to the class?

Public classes start at 9am, so we recommend showing up to the class no later than 8:50am

Are there snacks or drinks provided throughout the day?

Yes! We provide a variety of snacks and beverages at all of our public classes.
