MICROSOFT EXCEL EXPERT MO-211 CERTIFICATION BOOTCAMP

Level: Advanced | Delivery Channel: In-Person Classroom | CPE Credits: 24 Credits | Duration: 3 Days (24 Hours)

The Microsoft Excel Expert MO-211 Certification Bootcamp is a three-day intensive that prepares you to pass Exam MO-211 and earn the Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel Expert (Microsoft 365 Apps) credential. The bootcamp uses a proven bookend design: it opens by teaching how the exam is structured and the best strategies for taking it, then you sit a live baseline attempt early in the course. From there, every exam domain is taught hands-on via practice exams — and the class closes with a second live attempt on the final day. Sitting the real exam first removes test-day anxiety and gives you a personalized map of exactly which topics to focus on. As a Certiport Authorized Testing Center, we administer the official proctored exam on-site, so there is no separate testing appointment to schedule. This is not an easy exam and if you are not a regular Excel user, this is probably not the right class for you. This class is focused primarily on passing the exam, and fine tuning your Excel skills. If you have limited to no Excel skills to start with, you will struggle in this class and probably not pass the exam.

Job seekers and working professionals who want a credential that proves associate-level Excel proficiency — and who want to walk out having actually sat the official exam.

Not Sure You're Exam-Ready?

This is advanced, exam-focused preparation, not an introductory course. You should already be comfortable with everyday Excel — formulas, formatting, tables, and basic charts, PivotTables, advanced functions, data validation, and recorded macros. If you still not sure, connect with one of our Excel Experts to help guide you.

Do I need to be an Excel expert to take this bootcamp?

No, but this is advanced, exam-focused preparation. Therefore you need to be a fairly regular Excel user. The Expert exam assumes you already have solid intermediate Excel skills — ideally the Excel Associate (MO-210) certification or equivalent experience. You should already be comfortable at some level with formulas, formatting, tables, charts, PivotTables, advanced functions, data validation, and recorded macros. This class will focus on fine tuning your Excel skills through taking practice exams over and over again, and filling gaps along the journey.

What certification will I earn?

By passing Exam MO-211 you earn the Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel Expert (Microsoft 365 Apps) credential — an industry-recognized certification that validates your advanced Excel skills at an expert level.

How much does the bootcamp cost?

$1,495. This includes your on-site attempt(s) at the official MO-211 exam.

Does this class qualify for CPE credits?

Yes! This bootcamp is accredited through the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy and earns 24 CPE (Continuing Professional Education) credits. You will receive a certificate of completion at the end of class.

Do I take the real exam during the bootcamp?

Yes. Excel Experts is a Certiport Authorized Testing Center, so you sit the official, proctored MO-211 exam on-site as part of the bootcamp — a baseline first attempt early in the course and a second attempt on the final day. There is no separate testing center to travel to.

What do I need to bring to the in-person class?

Just need to bring an ID: A valid Driver’s License, Passport, or Military ID! We provide a full-size training computer, class materials, and snacks and drinks throughout the day.

What if I have taken the MO-211 exam before?

Microsoft enforces waiting periods between attempts — 24 hours after a first attempt and 14 days after later attempts, with a maximum of five attempts within 12 months. Tell us your exam history at enrollment and we will plan your attempt(s) so your exam falls safely outside the required waiting period.

How big are the public classes?

In-person public classes are small — up to 6 students — so you get plenty of individual attention from the instructor.

Can my whole team take this class together?

Absolutely. We offer private group training tailored to your team's schedule, location, and skill level.

Is the training hands-on or lecture-based?

Yes. Our classes are highly interactive with guided labs and exercises so participants practice every concept rather than just watching demonstrations.
